I was going to have a tutorial on how to create repeating stripped backgrounds and then I came across an amazing site that does it for you. Stripemania.com has a real slick stripe generator that lets you adjust the stripe width, spacing, colors, and orientation. This is a really great time saving tool for any designer! Well Ben Blogged is back! I want to first apologize for being gone so long but I had to get a new hosting company and transfer my domain… which took longer then I wanted. I was using Dot5 Hosting and my database kept crashing. I called and e-mailed them about 30 times over the last month or so and they always said it was working or would be working… it never did or would crash again. Long story short I’m now using Host Monster and so far so good. I’m looking forward to being back online and providing some new vector art and tutorials. Welcome to Ben Blogged, your source for design tips, trends, tutorials, and source files. As a full time freelance designer I am constantly trying to learn as much as possible to stay competitive and someday hang with the elite of the design community. I am new to many aspects of design, I just taught myself css this last summer, but in saying that I also know what people want to learn. Don’t limit yourself; we will not focus on one specific area because the best part of designing (besides being creative) is variety! I plan on sharing with you my knowledge of css, xhtml, Flash, java, php, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
