Well I am excited to announce the latest version of Elegant Seagulls Design has BEN launched. I liked the previous version but the narrow design limited room for growth. I don’t want Ben Blogged to turn into my personal portfolio but please feel free to let me know what you think.

Keeping track of clients, projects, and billing can be a GIANT headache but is also one of the most import parts of freelancing/running your own business…if you don’t send out invoices you don’t get paid! I have been personally using a very archaic system that worked well but used up a lot of my time. I just started using MacFreelance and so far it has been an amazing addition to my business.

I am pleased to announce my latest project, Template Tower. This site is your source free and deluxe W3C standards compliant and valid CSS/XHTML Templates. I was going to have free templates as part of Ben Blogged but decided to keep them in their own area.
Right now there are three Free CSS Templates and three Deluxe CSS Templates. I have a ton of sites designed and a bunch almost done so make sure you check it out and come back often. It has Ben Blogged.

I was going to have a tutorial on how to create repeating stripped backgrounds and then I came across an amazing site that does it for you. Stripemania.com has a real slick stripe generator that lets you adjust the stripe width, spacing, colors, and orientation. This is a really great time saving tool for any designer! Can you say it has Ben Blogged.
