ORIGINAL DESIGN GANGSTA

Well as someone who likes hip-hop music I must say this is a little cheesy but for sure worth watching. This guy did his research and a nice job including a lot of design terms. Time to say it has Ben Blogged!

Blog Action Day – Yesterday

Well I am a day late but better late then never. Blog Action Day is a day when “bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind – the environment.” For Blog Action Day I would just like to ask everyone to do something positive for the environment maybe pick up some trash, recycle some cans, or even just walk to the store. It doesn’t have to be anything big because every little bit does help. Well once again Ben Blogged has helped to save the environment… a day late, and this one has Ben Blogged.

Food For Thought

I check cssmania.com every morning to get my mind warmed up and also to see what other designers are creating. It’s important to stay current with trends and to be inspired but when does “inspiration” become something else? Not long ago I was very impressed with a new blog site called blogsolid.com. I thought the design, colors, layout, and attention to detail were great.

Today I came across a site that had a very similar layout at www.bulletproofideas.com.

Pixelmator is Here!

Well I will not be the first to tell you about the launch of Pixelmator and I will not be the last. So what is Pixelmator some of you may be asking? “Pixelmator, the beautifully designed, easy-to-use, fast and powerful image editor for Mac OS X has everything you need to create, edit and enhance your images.” I downloaded the trial version and as a die hard Photoshop fan I must say I was very impressed. Many of the tools are almost identical to those found in Photoshop … but I did discover tons of really cool features in only the first five minutes. On the downside if you are a hard core Photoshop user it can really mess you up having different short cuts and having to search for what you want to accomplish. I have not purchased a copy yet but for only $59 I don’t see how I can afford not to. Anyways check it out and let me know what you think. Ben Blogged!
